About Fook Ning Chan (Ning)

Ning graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Optometry from The University of Melbourne in 1989. After a year in corporate optometry, he found it unsuited to his practice style and moved to Cranbourne VisionCare (previously known as Eyeline Optical) in 1990. Over the last 3 decades, he has created a sense of community and family at his practices. His warm, friendly demeanor and professionalism creates a safe and supportive space for patients.

Ning has a particular interest in eye diseases and contact lenses (especially multifocal contact lenses). He has trained extensively in treating early onset myopia and orthokeratology. In addition, he has invested both time and resources into modern diagnostic equipment to better care for the well-being of his patients.

This has allowed him to expand his practices to Mount Waverley (Waverley VisionCare) and became the owner of Cranbourne VisionCare.

Outside of optometry, Ning has two children; Mei Wah and Mun Wah who you might see helping out at one of our stores. He enjoys spending his weekends with his wife and family, cycling and fly fishing.
